*The wind was calm today. The sun was rising as it usually did and Minshasa was sitting near the lake taking a drink and listening for anymovement around her. Feeling safe and secure she continued to srink. Until she heard a twig snap. She wasnt alone any longer, she looked around and her ears erect listening for any indication of where the noisemaker was located*

Linwe breathed softly, picking her foot up quickly from where the twig had snapped.. usually she was more stealthly but it had left her today.. it didn't help that she was leading her horse on foot. The animal had decided to act extremely stubborn until she got her way.. stupid Lundi. Her hand went instinctively to the blade that rested on her hip, waiting to see if she would be attacked.

*Minshasa looked at the girl with the horse and stared at her waited to see what she would do. Minshasa readied her claws just in case she had to use them*

Linwe leaned forward to stroke the horses muzzle, already the mare had gotten worked up as if she knew that there would be a fight from this. The ranger had her hood pulled over her face, so her features were unreadable as she swung into the horses saddle. "State you name and business!"

"I shall ask nicely once more. State your name and business!" Linwe did not normally roam this part of the woodlands ever since the incident with the Ents which envolved some insulting and supposedly being to 'hasty'. Lundi had the same thought as her owner as she stomped her hoof onto the ground.

Linwe blinked and in a swift movement notched an arrow into her bow, "Come down.. I am assuming you can speak."

Lundi tossed her head, snorting as her rider attempted to calm her, "Calm down! I wish not to hurt you unless I must or if you are a servant of evil."

"I would like to know what you are doing in Fangorn! No one has lived here but the Ents for a long time." Linwe told the girl, looking to the trees.

"You were born here?" Linwe questioned sliding off of her mount with the speed of an elf but the grace of a human, "I have never heard of such!"

"What is your name?" Linwe asked, looking to the girl with wary eyes.. she was not one to be won over quickly, she had her suspicions of everyone.

"My question was asked first." Linwe had a hint of venom in her voice as continued to keep her face hidden, this person had no right to know of what she looked like or who she was until she got answers.

If you wont tell me who you are why should I give my name. I already gave you more information about me than I have from you. *minshasa replied tired of this useless conversation*

"I have reasons to hide myself, which is more than I can say for you." The ranger growled as lowered her hood, something that she did rarely, "Does that make you feel better?" There was a certain beauty to her, even if it was masked by the dirt and mud on her face.
