Tári Laughed, "no, he was polite to me, i just noticed that he was giving you dirty looks at the end." Ranger looked up snorted then continued to grase. She shook her hair back, and looked over to the cliff edge. Tári quickly looked away, "are we going to camp here?" she asked looking around the small valley.

"Unless you'd rather go back through the cliff. And it wasn't just at the end, he was tossing me dirty looks throught the whole time." She snorted and Lundi's head flew up, "Lundi it was me, not that other stupid mare." She said to the horse. "God, I hated him and his horse, Lundi did too." She turned so that she was facing the right side of the saddle.

Tári looked simpitheticly at her, "sorry about that, if i see him again..." her eyes flashed angerly. She didn't like it when her friends were spoken rudely to. Ranger felt her anger threw up his head. Ranger looked at her unhappily, "sorry boy, you didn't like him either, gosh! now that i think of it he was rude." she tossed her head back and closed her eyes.

"Glad you see the way I did. Okay, so, let's set up camp." She said enthusiasticly and jumped of Lundi make the horse snort before going back to graze. In mere seconds she had taken the saddle of her mount, "You've had the weight on your back for a long time now, Haven't you?" She laughed and chucked the light leather saddle on the ground, "Good thing, it's not your war armor."

Tári grinned jumping off of Ranger, she still had that uneasy guilty feeling in her stomach. After untacking Ranger she looked at him wonderinly. she lept back on him without the saddle or britle. Ranger flicked his ears confused, what was she doing?

Linwe looked up at her confused, "What are you doing Tári?" She asked the younger elf, the half-elfs eyes were filled with wonder, Lundi had wandered far away from her so if she went gallabanting off it would take Linwe longer to go and reach her. She still held her bridle in one hand.

Tári looked over at Linwë, "i just remembered that i was trained to ride a horse eflish stile," she reagused her seat and spoke elfish to Ranger, his head came up from grazing. Ranger walked calmly forward, at another word he turned right and walked towards the cliff. At the last second Tári spoke again and her turned all the way around. Tári spoke a little more he broke into a trot and stopped at Linwë beaming, "it works!"

Linwe laughed, "I was never taught that, mine was good old fashioned don't-fall-off riding of men." She grinned and then put Ludni's bridle next to her brown leather saddle and sighed, "You take fire duty. I really feel like hunting for my meat. I could get us some conies, maybe a buck if we are lucky."

Tári made a face but got to work makeing the fire. Ranger walked over to Lundi and started to graze next to her. Tári walked over to some of the dead trees, picking some of the dried wood. Taking it back to the cleared area, she sat down to start it. She pulled her hair back so it wouldn't get caught in the flames.

Lundi happily gave a slight nicker as Ranger came over and Linwe smiled as she saw them from the corner of her eye. But she had grabbed her bow from over near Lundi's saddle, "It shouldn't take me long." With that she slung her quiver and bow over her sholder and made her way into the deep woods.

Tári nodded fiddling with the kindling she hated makeing fires. A spark flew up from the wood to Tári's surprise. She gerked backwars as the fire started to spread to the other logs. She pulled her hair back and put a pot over the fire. She stood and streched, looking for Linwë.

Nay, it did not take Linwe long to get a meal for maybe a half an hour later she emerged from the woods with three dead rabbits, big rabbits, enough for each of them. SHe was just glad to get to use her bow.

Tári smiled she loved rabbit. She glanced at the water whutch was boiling. She turned to her pack and got out some veggies and held them up, "soup tonight?" she asked. her head tilted.

Linwë grinned over at her, "Sounds nice." She tossed the rabbits over at Tari, "Catch!" She laughed. It felt so odd to be near Tari, for they had met so long ago but yet not, but it also felt good.

Tári hand flicked upwards ceching the rabbits, she threw one back at Linwë, "you have to help me do this, if you want to eat my cooking," she replied jokingly. Flicking her knife out she cut the rabbit open, cleaning out the rabbit took no time at all. Tári threw the innereds onto the fire, not wanting to attract any animals in the night, she put the skin into her pack, she needed the fur for the winter. She bent to the work of cutting the meat as the flames grew hotter and hotter, boiling the water.

The smell that came from the burning innards was an aquired thing to get used to. Linwe had smelt so many times it felt almost comforting to her. She grabbed one of the other rabbits, cutting the meat into perfect sizes for the soup. She couldn't help but travel back to the thoughts of Taylor. It almost seemed as it Tari had liked him. Oh well, she needn't dwindle on thoughts like that. She had more important things to do.

OCC: let’s rap this one up soon and start another Tári dumped her meat into the simmering broth, more bubbles bubbled up cooking the meat. She wandered through her mind, like strolling through a library full of reread books, she settled her mind on Taylor, his smile, his hair, his politeness, oh why couldn’t he had been nice to Linwe then they could have traveled together and she would have gotten to know him. Tári frowned, when his face had popped up in her mind it was like a light turned on, but she didn't want to like him, he had been rude to her friends. She gave a long sigh, her emotions all mixed up.

ooc// Good idea.. You have to start it though Linwe finished with her own and looked up at Tari, she heard the sigh and frowned, "What's wrong? Your not fretting over that boy are you?" She raised her eyebrows and her eyes took on a slight laughing look. She only hoped that her guess wasn't right. She herself had never fallen for a guy and she never hoped to. They only caused confusion and trouble.

Tári gave her a dark look in contrast for the laughing one,
"What do you think?"
She snapped, flicking her hair angrily away from the fire. A nagging guilt immediately started stabbing at her chest. Tári kept her eyes, down and away from Linwe ashamed at her actions and feelings.
Ranger snorted and knocked his friends head, reprimanding her for being rude to a comrade. He snorted in disgust when she brushed him away and reprimanded him for hitting her.

Linwe glared at Tari, "I think that you like him, if you are going to snap at me for looking at you then I will personally leave you here on your own." She raised her eyebrows and looked over at Lundi who was looking over at Ranger. She bowed her head for a moment so that her eyes were lowered to Linwe's level before grazing.
"And treat your horse like that and he won't be very willing to do anything for you." She almost felt like walking out on the other ranger just for acting as such, "With an attitude like that you can go join the boy."
