Tári still didn't look at Linwe, but she stroked Ranger and gave him a carrot, apologizing. He bobbed his head, eating the carrot and forgiving her. Tári felt better when Ranger forgave her, but she didn't want Linwe to look at her, she felt horrible, and guilty. Deciding she wasn't hungry she grabbed her blankets and spread them out. She lay down; Ranger lay down in his customary spot, between her and the fire.
"Dinner’s ready"
Tári curled up into a ball under her blankets, she didn't want to leave, she wanted to stay and she wanted to forget this night and Taylor. Trying to tarnish him she blamed the whole horrible night on him, she drifted to sleep as unseen tears slipped unwanted down her cheeks not making a sound.

Linwe looked at Lundi who just kept eating, "Pig." She called the horse who snorted and looked at her as if to say, 'Yeah, what about it.' She lookd at the dinner before looking once more at Tari. She called over her mount quietly and whispered words softly in her ear, "We are going to leave for one day, We will be in Osgiliath. Tell Ranger." She gathered her things barely making a sound. She doused the fire and looked over at Lundi who had just come back from over where Ranger was.
She slipped one foot into the saddle and heaved herself in, not as graceful as usually, "Learn your lesson." She whispered before kicking Lundi and taking off, away from the camp that she and Tari had just set up.
